Batwing Area
4. **V2 Start with your right hand on
a jug on the arete and your left hand
in a bucket both at 5' high then head
up to a slopey crimp then up to the
arete.
5. ***V3 Batwing SDS on a
sidepull/undercling and a right hand
crimp if it helps and move up and
rightish to take the roof an at the
scoop.
5a. **V3 Same start, but using both
hands on the undercling helps then
straight up through a mantle move
right above the crouch of the tree.
6. **V0 A fun, dirty arete with a sloped landing. Good feet and licheny hands.
Burnside #3
1. **V1 SDS on the rock and work the cracks and
the left side of the right arete up to the high point.
It's not nearly as fun if you roll out earlier, but it
does seem a little harder.
2. **V1/2R Start on the flake and hit some knobs
over the lip with a bad landing and lichen for spice.
2a. V? Traverse right to the high point
3. V? move right and mantle to the lip?
4. V? crimps to a slopey topout
5. ***V4 SDS this stellar arete.
6. V? highball slab looks like several options
The Batwing Boulder
1. VB* Start on a good and work obvious
holds to the arete then up.
2. **V2 Stand start on good crimps just left
of the rock in the landing then head up and
left through good crimps to a sloper then top
out.
2a. **V2 Same start, but pull up and slightly
right through some slopey knobs. A spotter to
keep you off the rock is nice on this one.
3. *V2 Stand start matched on a creaky
undercling 6' off the ground, get some high
feet and move to a good rail just below the
lip then over.
